Why??

Sometimes we go through life wondering why certain things happen to us. We wonder whether or not God is right there with us through the whole storm, We ask God so many ‘why‘ questions and never sit there and listen to what He has to say.

 

School Setting..

What happens in a school setting when you’re needing to ask the teacher a question? There are many cases where, rather than just asking the question, we explain what we did and how hard this problem is. We don’t close our mouth long enough to listen to the teacher and learn how to go about the problem. There is no way we can possibly learn anything by doing that.

 

We go to God with our problems and ask Him multiple times how to work this out and explain what you did to try to solve it. Without giving God any time to talk we keep babbling on.

How can we fix this problem?

Here is a simple, yet blunt answer:

Sit down, close our mouth, focus on God and put those listening ears on and see what He has to say.

 

Don’t give up listening to God. It might take time to hear what He has to say only because He wants you to stay focused on Him. Also, don’t get mad at what He does say, because it might not be the answer you want or they way you want to do things.

 

During this time..

During this time we will begin to notice things shifting in our hearts and minds. Our ‘why‘ will turn in ‘wow‘. Our questioning will turn into praises.

 

Do not make such a big deal over this little stumbling block you might have ran into. As the old saying says, don’t make a mountain out of a molehill. Yes, it is easy for us to blow things way out of proportion. It is also easier for its to face theses things when we are alert and focused on the Lord.
